Advantages of Stamping Elbow

Advantages of Stamping Elbow

Stamped elbow is one of elbow fittings, which has a good development trend at home and abroad and can play an effective role in practical performance.

The basic processing procudure is as follows:
firstly, a polygonal ring shell or a polygonal fan shell with closed ends is welded; after the interior is filled with pressure medium, internal pressure is applied; under the influence of internal pressure, the cross section gradually changes from polygon to circle, and finally becomes a circular ring shell.

Stamping elbow has a good production and processing technology, which can produce good performance and value in actual use and production, generating certain value and contribution for different industries, and meeting the performance value of different industries.

Stamping ElbowThe advantages of stamping elbow are mainly shown in the following aspects:

1. The billet is a flat plate or developable curved surface, so the blanking is simple, the precision is easy to guarantee, and the assembly and welding are convenient.
2. Pipe billets are not needed as raw materials, which can save the cost of pipe-making equipment and dies, on account of which can we obtain arbitrary elbows with large diameter and relatively thin wall thickness.
3. Due to the above two reasons, the manufacturing cycle can be shortened, and the production cost can be greatly reduced. Because no special equipment is needed, it is especially suitable for processing large stamped elbows on site. A3/16Mn seamless steel pipes are widely used at home and abroad, resulting in serious wear and frequent replacement of pipes. There is a kind of mature cast stone pipe that has high hardness, but due to technological reasons, the thickness of cast stone pipe is large, thick, heavy, inflevible, which is very limited in use. In addition, the cast stone is brittle, easy to break, which brings great difficulties to transportation and installation.

When choosing a stamped elbow, we must pay attention to its material selection. After all, the stamped elbow sometimes determines the quality of the whole pipeline to a certain extent. At the same time, we should also consider the overall strength of the pipeline and elbow.

In electric power, mining, metallurgy and other industries, materials are transported at short distance and high pressure. Pipes are under considerable pressure and subjected to severe wear. Pipes made of single material are difficult to meet the requirements of this working condition, especially elbows. Because of their safety and service life, the emphasis is on improving the toughness, impact resistance and wear resistance of pipe linings.
